SCHOOLBOX - ONLINE TEACHER COURSE
This is a screenshot of the Schoolbox Teacher Course which I was heavily involved in working on with three team members over eight months. I was an integral part of each stage including, analysing the needs and requirements of the course, structural design of the course and content, developing a variety of resources, evaluating and implementing the course. The course was designed for a variety of teacher roles and skills. which is evident in the structure of the projects, especially within Unit 4 where teachers can select their knowledge level (basic, intermediate and hard) and student base (junior or secondary).
The course was structured into projects so that users could learn in small windows of time (critical for time poor teachers) and focus on particular topics that are relevant to them.
I was also involved in the creation of assessments and the rubrics used to assess teacher knowledge. Below is a sample of a due work item with instructions and marking rubric.
